the space with no ink

Negative space–I printed everything except the anchor. That's it. That's the whole design.
Negative space is the shape that appears when you don't add ink.
The watercolor stripes run straight across the surface. The anchor is simply where the ink stopped. No outline. No fill. Just the shape your eye fills in on its own.
A solid anchor would have felt heavy against the stripes. Leaving it white keeps everything light — the stripes carry the color and movement, and the anchor sits right in the middle. Steady. Clean. Easy to spot.
Negative space doing exactly what it's supposed to do. ⚓️
