The sunset your phone couldn't fully save

I wanted this one to be bright.

Not subdued, not flat, not passive. Sometimes a sunset throws you a confetti of colors.

I was trying to hold onto that kind of sunset—the one a photo never seems to capture well. You stand there looking at it, snap a photo, and later look at the picture and think: That’s not it.

Same Time Tomorrow is my attempt to keep the version you actually experienced: the bright pinks, soft peach, and little bits of lavender that make the whole sky feel almost unreal.

Honestly, I went back and forth on whether it was too bright. But I wanted a coastal canvas that felt like the confetti sunset you are about to stand in—not the too-dark, too-dull photo on your phone.

So this is what came out.

The little bits of lavender were not optional 😉.

A sunset worth keeping around a little longer.
