How is the canvas made?

The artwork is original, only found at Stride Coastal, created digitally, then printed when you order. Original art, real canvas. Not a poster, not a paper print.

Printed with archival, fade-resistant, OBA-free inks on pH-neutral, archival-grade canvas — colors stay true and won't yellow over time. Hand-stretched over 1.25" solid wood stretcher bars, hand-stapled.

What size should I get?

A loose rule of thumb: aim for art that's about two-thirds the width of the furniture below it. If you're hanging on a blank wall with nothing below it, go bigger than feels right — almost everyone wishes they'd gone larger.


When in doubt, grab some tape and outline the size on your wall before you order. Five minutes and you'll know.

Are the colors going to be the same as I see online?

Pretty much — screens vary between phones, laptops, and tablets, so there may be slight differences in brightness or warmth. Each piece is printed with fade-resistant inks on archival canvas and color-checked before shipping. If something looks off when it arrives, returns are easy — email me at support@stridecoastal.com and we'll sort it out.

Can you see staples on the sides?

No, all fasteners are on the back and out of sight.

How is it packaged to prevent damage?

Each piece ships in a box made from 90% post-consumer recycled cardboard, wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap. Larger sizes get corner protectors and internal structure to keep the canvas from flexing in transit.

Can I hang it outside?

It's built to last indoors — the canvas has UV protection and fade-resistant inks, so in a good indoor spot it'll hold its color for years. For the longest life, keep it out of direct sun, high humidity (like bathroom), and weather.

How do I clean it?

A light dusting is usually all it needs. For spots, use a damp cloth with water only — no cleaners or chemicals, they can damage the ink.
